I love that, more and more, I'm seeing the sun.
It's gloriously beautiful in the simplest of ways.
It's makes our porch glow and warms the old fences and forest floors.
It kisses the new spring buds as if welcoming them back from a long journey.

In the clouds it highlights their lofty dwelling and reaches slowly down to feed the new spring grass.
And there, rich and red, it lingers on the chest of the robin.

There are even hints of the sun in that soft, gold scarf Jonathan found for his wife because he knew she had been wanting one in this color for a very long time.
He knows her like that.
And then I watch it as wraps softly around the silent trees before slipping quiet behind the horizon.

The sun.
It warms me, like His strong arms holding me tight.
God's constant reminder of His faithfulness unending.
You found a mustard scarf! Yay! Where did you end up finding it?
ReplyDeleteActually Jonathan found it when we were shoppping at Plato's Closet. I was so happy and glad it only cost $5 ;)
