Illinois - Summing Up

I know you're probably thinking that this blog has been hijacked by all the pictures from Illinois. I was a little shutter happy with my camera while we were there, I'll admit. It was great practice for me though and I just love all the memories that I was  able to capture.
All that to say, here's the last of the pictures from our Illinois trip.
(aside from a portrait session I did with Christi, I'll share that some other time)

Just a warning, this is a long one.

 Enjoy!

We spent some time in the little downtown just walking around. I love downtown areas. And my whole family loves Antique shops and we just happened to find one. A three-story-chock-full-to-the-ceiling one. We loved it.
And I found a few treasures for Jonathan.

Just hanging out, talking and laughing with all my family was so good.
I love these people.

The weather was perfect. Warm, breezy and Spring-like.
We swung on swings, played Wiffle Ball and Four-Square and they laughed at my white legs. They haven't seen the sun in months, ok?! Give me some slack....

I'll end with the traditional family shots.

I just had to include this one of Emily that I got while adjusting the lighting. What a ham.

I love and miss you all, you bunch of crazies, you :)

ps. one of my favorite memories from this trip was something my Dad said while we were on our way up to Beth and Daniel's.
I was talking to Amy and I don't think he knew I heard him but he said this to mom, 'It's good to hear Breanne's voice again, ain't it? She hasn't changed a bit."
No matter what happens and no matter how life changes, that family bond is still there.

Thank You Jesus, for the blessing of that.
