who we are

    We're the Rodgers. Although we met in Michigan our relationship 'officially' started while he was in Alabama and I was in Mississippi. We were engaged in North Carolina and became Mr. & Mrs. in Tennessee. In July of 2014 we welcomed our son, Behr Owen into our lives. Being granted the blessing of adding this third little person to our family has been nothing short of amazing. For now, we've made our home in Kentucky. A place of horse farms, rolling hills and deep family roots. We sure love it here but who knows where God will take us in the coming years? 

    We're the quiet kids. The observers. We'd much rather sit down with you, coffee in hand, and have a good conversation than throw a party. Quality time + coffee, it's the best really. We're lovers of music, good food, being silly and telling (or listening to) stories. That about sums us up. Except for the most important thing we want you to know: 

We follow Jesus Christ

    What does that mean? It means, that through Him (and only Him) we've been forgiven and accepted by God, His Father. We live redeemed by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Not perfectly, not without stumbling. Only with the power of His grace, can we do anything right. And now we know that the purpose of our lives is to bring glory to Him and share His good news with you. Photography and writing are two passions of ours; thus the reason for us creating this space on the internet. Here you'll see our work, read about how we're learning and growing together and probably see lots of pictures of our baby (there can never be too many, right?). Our hope is that what you see here isn't a promotion of our life but a reflection of what He has and continues to do for us.
