This child. This sweet part of our hearts....

She's all soft threads of gold hair and pale skin. 

She's fidgeting hands and feet. Curious. A little flower waving and growing in the sunlight and wind. A God-story blossoming, unfolding right before us. 

Dirt, icing and mischief can be found on her face on any given day. 

She's a mess. 
Like you and me. 
She's just another one of us in need of grace, in need of love and truth. 
In need of Jesus. 

Oh, but we love her. 

We've been with her all through her little journey. 

We've laughed, cried over, and prayed so hard for her. 

And we keeping praying. We're asking God to keep working. 

She might not know it yet, but Jesus Christ is the only way she's going to make it through what she has yet to face in her life. 

May God's grace lift her high.
