Eve Thoughts

Sometimes, God just gives us an ordinary day. Or a whole string of them. The ins and outs of today are the same as the were yesterday, and last week. 

This is life. 

And if I'm not thankful for the day-to-day routine. For the regular and normal things. For the ordinary. The simple conclusion is that I'm not thankful for this life. 

I need to be thankful for all. 

For books and the adventures inside them. 

For rawhide bones to keep Sadie busy. 

For that silver band, how it wraps 'round his finger in the same way his arms encircle me.
For this quiet time alone.

For a need, and urge, to write. 

For second cups of coffee.  

For all the ordinaries, Jesus....thank You.
