"And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground,
the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among
the dead? He is not here, but has risen...."
Those words.
the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among
the dead? He is not here, but has risen...."
Luke 24:5-6a

Those words.
Simple, powerful, awe-inspiring words that were spoken to the women who found hope in a dark and empty place.
They found it. And we can too.
He is risen.
Death is vanquished, sin is conquered and His triumph is shared with all us unworthy ones.

If there's a message that Jonathan and I could relay to you on this day it would be this:
You who have repented and been adopted, rejoice!
The culmination of God's plan to save us all has come to pass
in Christ's resurrection.
in Christ's resurrection.
And if you haven't yet experienced His grace and forgiveness,
now is the time and today is the day.
He has won the war for you, let His victory be yours.
....and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of
God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
(Mark 1:15, ESV)
He is risen indeed! Spread the glorious news!
