Weeds

Some days God has to remind me that it doesn't all have to be perfect for me to be happy. Everything doesn't have to be trimmed up and cleaned out. There's beauty in the mess and life isn't all about looking faultless. It's about accepting that I cannot be perfect in myself. But more than that, it's about living in grace. Only then can God's glory be seen even in my imperfection. And only then can Jesus be made perfect in all my weaknesses.

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-1
