Our old faithful, suitcase is packed, the van has been cleaned out and we've made room for Sadie's cage in the back of our vehicle (although we had to take out the bench seat to do so :). We're all ready to make a little trip to my homeland...Tennessee! Please pray for safety and alertness during our little roadtrip.
It's been 2 1/2 months since I've seen my family and that feels like a very long time. I've missed my herd :) But now that my husband (and our puppy) have healed up from their surgeries we can hit the road!
Lord willing, pictures and future posts will follow next week. But for now, I'm very much looking forward to drinking too much coffee, staying up for movie nights and laughing with my crazy, loud family.
And I'm thankful to God for blessing us with such welcoming families, on both sides. ;)
