Tennessee

It was so so good to be with my family again. A much needed break for sure. And we had so much fun with everyone. This is a longer post, but there's just so much to share! Here are some of the highlights :)

Driving through the dark until it faded into this cotton-candy sunrise over the Smoky Mountains.

Getting to play with Mom's European Golden Retrievers Sam and Rosie. I really am so excited about Mom's dream to raise these dogs. Hopefully Sam and Rosie will have a litter not too long from now and I can take pictures of them too! But for now take a look at these beauties, I call them the Polar Bear Cubs :)

And of course, Sadie's best friend, Max. He's such a sweetheart and loves Sadie. He belongs to Mel and Jay.

I loved the mornings when me and Momma got up to walk our puppies and then had a chance to sit and chat while everyone else woke up. Those were priceless moments for me.

Sadie loved mom and I so enjoyed watching Momma love on her :)

Me and Amy giving Sadie a bath.

You can see on her face how excited she was about it ;)
We played lots of Corn Hole. And although I'm not that great at it, I had just loved getting to hang out with my siblings and laugh at how bad I was :)

Them newlyweds :)

Seeing that Mom and Dad still walk together and hold hands after 30 years of marriage.

Surprising my sister Christi by showing up at the camp she is working at for the summer. Horses, boots and being in charge....she couldn't have been more in her element ;)

And finally, getting to take in the breath-taking, God-beauty of my beloved mountains.

Those mountains will always be close to my heart. And so will Tennessee. I love it there for many reasons. I call them Dad, Mom, Paul, Deb, Melissa, Jason, Nathan, Christi, Emily and Amy.
I'm so thankful to God for all these gifts and can't wait to come back!
