There's some new projects going on around here, and I'm pretty excited about it all.

I'm (slowly) learning to be content with the gifts that God has chosen to give us. Yes, even the gift of a house that's not completely finished yet.
Much of the Rodgers' nest is still under construction, a work in progress and all that.
And bit by bit we're making this into a beautiful place.
A place all our own.
Once we finish these current projects you'll be seeing them on here for sure. Just don't mind the few unpainted walls and drywall, ok?
Thanks, you're the best. ;)
Hehe, Brea...don't worry!! In all the pictures that I've seen of your house, I've never ONCE seen anything that looked unfinished or ugly!! I didn't even see the unfinished drywall until you said something and I went looking for it! But I'm glad to hear you're learning to love your little Nest - it's still something I only dream about. :) It reminds me of the quote I read once, "What you now have was once amongst the things you only hoped for." Contentment with myself and not comparing myself and my life with others is something I'm dealing with constantly, but the Lord is helping me so much with it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet words friend! It's all about surrendering my silly expectations. And I need to hear the words in that quote like every day! Like our house, we're all our a work in progress aren't we? :)
