That Time Of Year

Christmastime has come around here. The lights, sparkles and not-so-little-anymore puppy are all around keeping us smiling and making us feel cozy.
It's a beautiful time, and I'm loving it.

We've been busy decorating the house, shopping for gifts and keeping Sadie from chewing the tree.

And I think we've almost finished wrapping all the presents! Jonathan is head present wrapper at our house. He's much better at it than I am (I just hand him the tape.)

We hope all the upcoming days are merry and bright in your heart and home this season.

And more importantly that we all remember this. What we're really celebrating is God here with us. Don't forget that amongst all the wrapping paper and busy schedules.

Merry Christmas all!

p.s. I discovered this link on Pinterest last night and it was just the extra touch our gifts needed. Check it out! I mean....who doesn't love free stuff? :

  2. Aaaah!! I'm now utterly possessed with the urge to go wrap something!! But as my Christmas shopping is barely begun, that's sorta out of the question. Which, the fact that I'm still meditating on each person and what would be the perfect gift, is really strange for me, since I'm usually pretty much done by now. BUT since I LOVE buying presents (gifts is my secondary love language!) for people, I don't mind it lasting longer. :) And that picture of the lights & globes in the chest is beautiful!! Truly stunning! Wish we could have a swap day - you teach me some lighting technique, I show you some editing tech. :)
