Have you ever thought about how nothing in this life is constant? There are no copies, no duplicates. There is no season, period in life or time of day that is the same. Just look at nature. Every tree, every leaf, every time it rains.
We humans are also made completely unique. And even then, we are unable to keep ourselves the same throughout our lifetime.
We grow taller, grow older, grow into someone different than we were before.
In the breathing in and out and living we are always being changed.
And always, everything is transforming around us.
Why all this instability? Why all this shifting and removing and replacing?

Perhaps because:
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
So maybe, just maybe, God's purpose for all this constant changing is because He wants to show us that the only unchangeable reality, in this life or the next, is Himself.
For Your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in Your faithfulness.
-Psalm 26:3
but you shall cling to the Lord your God just as you have done this day.
-Joshua 23:8
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me His own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature thing this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal this also to you.
-Philippians 3:12-15

Brea, I loved that. It was beautiful and something I needed to be reminded of! God is so big and comfy and always there, and I know I for one would go bonkers without His steadfast, never-changing, I-can-count-on-Him constancy. :)
