I mean it.
Now don't groan on the inside...I know what you're thinking: 'Oh great, yet another mushy post from a newlywed wife that's infatuated with her husband and their life together.'
And though I'm not ashamed to tell you how much I am in love with Jonathan and these two posts will contain some of that 'mushy' stuff, it's not what its all about. Promise, K? So keep reading :)
It seems to me that all of our lives are made up of love stories. We are loved by parents, siblings, friends and for some of us by our husband or wife. That is, the very blessed of us are loved in those ways.
But maybe you're not blessed like that....maybe you're one of those that has been deeply hurt or abandoned. Maybe you're the lost one, the divorced one, the aching deep inside one. Would you believe me if I said you were still blessed?
After all, we're all part of the Great Love Story.
"In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world , that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be a propitiation for our sins."
I was texting Jonathan while he was at work and asking him to pray for me because I was dealing with some discouragement. Here's what part of our conversation looked like:
I couldn't have put it better myself! Basically, he was telling me that I needed to stop focusing on the negative and rejoice in being loved.
And maybe you need to do that today too......
ps. Part two of the 'Love Stories' posts will be up tomorrow, but be warned....it's about being married so it could contain some of that 'lovey-dovey' stuff ;)

1 John 4:9-10
Whether you are married, single, widowed, divorced, unsaved or a born-again Christian. If you're alive, you are loved by the God who died for you. He loves you more than I can portray with the words you're reading on the screen right now. I don't know if you've accepted that truth yet. But I hope you have. I hope that you've repented of the sin that has separated us all from His holiness and let His love bring you close, so close.
And if you have, if you are an adopted one like me, I hope you make the time in your life everyday to let Him tell you the love story that makes you one with Him in Christ. Delight in it. Rejoice and find peace in it. <-----God convicted me of neglecting this habit as I was writing this post. See? I need to hear all this too!Whether you are married, single, widowed, divorced, unsaved or a born-again Christian. If you're alive, you are loved by the God who died for you. To finish, I'm want to share a little something that happened while I was writing this post. Isn't it amazing how God works?
