This week has been a little different than what our normal routine usually is. But really? I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever get back to the 'normal' routine. Oh well, maybe...maybe not.

So far this week I have:
Rode in a little six-seater plane to get to Illinois.
(Which I loved doing, by the way)
Been enjoying and rejoicing over the new life of my nephew, Mason.
Wrangled our-almost-three-years-old-and-crazy niece Gracie.
Got to watch my sister in action being one amazing momma to her kids.
And celebrated two years of marriage to the most perfect man in the whole world wide for me. We had to find ways to make it work while being long-distance, can't say we're not used to that though ;)
I'm tired, yes. I miss my husband, of course. (See you tomorrow, love!) But, by the grace of God, we're doing very well. We're learning that the shifting, the changing and the unexpected is our normal. My heart's desire is to not shrink back from all this unknown but to be brave and bold. All while leaning close into the strength of our Savior. And oh, what and adventure it has been and will continue to be.
Thank You, Jesus for all Your unchanging, vast grace.
How I need it.
