When I got out of bed this morning my phone said that it was a whopping 8 degrees outside.
Wow.
Needless to say, I did not want to leave my cozy bed.
I've been trying to stay warm all day, and having two cups of coffee has helped for sure :)

By now it's warmed up to a scorching 18 degrees :)
The winters in Kentucky are a bit more intense than we have in Tennessee. As the mountains catch a lot of the nasty weather for us there, I'm not exactly used to all this cold.
But I don't mind, cold weather just makes curling up with good books and a napping puppy that much more enjoyable.
