Define Normal

I was grateful for an uneventful breakfast this morning.
Why?
I don't know.....

I mean, last night was a pretty normal evening around here.
Oh, except for the fact that when we took Sadie out for her potty break I locked us all out of the house.
Oh, and both our cellphones were inside.
And it was cold.
Aaand it was completely dark.

We were stranded for about ten minutes until Jonathan was able to find one unlocked window.
Great!
It just so happened to be high up on the house and the smallest window in our house.
Not so great.
I, being the smallest in our group,
(not counting Sadie)
was nominated to be inserted into the window, feet first, by my husband.
And he had to lift me up twice because the first time I demanded he put me down because I was laughing to hard to complete my task.
But after waiting to compose myself, Jonathan was able to put me in the tiny window.
Which I just happened to fit inside of....
....barely.
But you know,
other than that,
it was a completely normal evening.

And uneventful breakfasts are much more appreciated now.

  4. Reminds me of when Beth and I had to break into one of our host homes!! I still can't believe that neighbor lady let two total strangers borrow a ladder to get in through an upstairs window!!! Fun memories. :)
