So far our time in Tennessee has been so sweet and beautiful.
Drinking too much coffee, making sticky-warm-s'more memories around a campfire and snuggling up close for a chilly truck ride up into the mountains has all been so very good.
And last night I was preparing myself to leave these crazy loves of mine here when my sweet husband suggested that me and the Dane stay behind for a few days (and that he would be back to pick us up on Saturday.)
Oh!
I didn't have to say good-bye....at least not yet. And that's the sweetest of all. More time with my herd? Yes please!
Of course, now I feel a bit torn. Half of me isn't here and I do feel a bit odd without him to share in all this with me. But he will be back soon and we're old pros at the whole long-distance thing.
But please hurry back, love, OK? I miss you lots and lots.
